October Newsletter
This month our Sunday services will focus on ‘Looking In’ to help us understand our own stories and the people we are in Christ.
We’ll be exploring a number of questions – What is my faith story? How can I share it with others? What is my responsibility in God’s mission? What if I don’t think I can do it? What does it mean to be a disciple? How can I encourage others to be involved?
In coming months we will ‘look up’ and ‘look forward’ to understand further how we can share in God’s mission. These words lie behind our exploration of Mission – “The word became flesh and blood and moved into the neighbourhood” John 1:14 (The Message). The word becomes flesh and blood through us, so that through us, Jesus moves into our neighbourhoods.
